In recent years, with China rapid growth of car parc, great market potential of vehicle dismantling and recycle industry comes into public view. Chinese government also give more close attention and strong support to this industry.

As China has  promulgated (CCC homologation/environment mark product homologation) and will promulgate (announcement homologation) recycling regulations, complete vehicle recycling and recovery rate RRR, part material identification and vehicle dismantling manual (Within 6 months to release for a new car which gets announcement) are included into the homologation scope of national legislation, which automotive complete vehicle manufacturers have taken it serious how to efficiently meet the industry specification. Combined with regulatory requirements, through the real vehicle dismantling, main research are done as follows:
①  To verify the authenticity and accuracy of part’s MDS provided by the supplier;
②  Based on dismantling data, to apply the professional system to calculate and verify the complete vehicle RRR value;
③  Based on dismantling data, combined with dismantling information system, to compile dismantling manual of end-of-life vehicles.
Through the implementation of the above research, to provide strong technical support for automotive complete vehicle manufacturers to complete the relevant product homologation.

SAIC VW is the first company to conduct research on complete vehicle dismantling. Based on the advantages of  ZC working experience in the auto field, and by the strong technical platform accumulated by the years in the auto engineering, ZC and SAIC VW established the first domestic research project team on complete vehicle dismantling oriented to recycling.

Different from the common dismantling company, dismantling research is required to gradually disassemble or split into every part of the complete vehicle to homogeneous material. In every stage, it is required to study on weight, photo, dismantling method and part material and etc. According to the national laws and regulations, finally to calculate vehicle RRR, verify IMDS data and compile dismantling manual of end-of-life vehicles for our clients.

Through a large number of data research and technical exchanges with foreign companies, through team’s effort, ZC has formed its own unique dismantling method and process. Through a large of number dismantling experience to improve ourselves, our team has formed one person with multi-technical ability level. According to dismantling experience, the project team can develop special tools for dismantling special parts and develop a unique powerful dismantling database too, thus better contribute to the field of end-of-life vehicle dismantling and recycling for all major automotive complete vehicle manufacturers in China.

1. Based on real vehicle dismantling, developing  a totally new vehicle dismantling tree structure template and dismantling part information database.
2. Based on the experience of RRR calculation for dismantling data, applying to compiling work for national standard GB/T19515-2004 <Road Vehicle Recyclability and Recoverability Calculation Method> and industry standard MWG01-2014 <Guidance for Recyclability and Recoverability Determination of Automotive Materials>.
3. The first one to develop the vehicle dismantling manual research, and has completed compiling dismantling manuals for a variety of vehicle models.
4. The dismantling research result provided strong technical support for national standard <Specifications for compiling dismantling manual of end-of-life vehicles> leading compiled by SAIC VW.

Complete vehicle dismantling and data record mode, part material data form check based on dismantling data, complete vehicle recyclability rate/recoverability rate verification and compiling complete vehicle dismantling manual etc, all are in a leading level in the industry, which gains the recognition from China Automotive Technology & Research Center (CATARC) and gets long-term strategic cooperation with them.
